I hope to use this blog to share and discuss some of my interests in investing, science, maths, economics, etc.

For my day job I manage the portfolio of a small private fund I started with my partner.

I have an MS in Computer Science and have worked at several high tech firms such as Intel, Sequent (now part of IBM) and eventually, together with some friends, co-founded Webridge Inc., a software company (after changing hands several times, more than a hundred people from it now are a division of  Huron Consulting).

Just for fun, I have also done some neuroscience research involving functional MRI at Oregon Health and Science University.
